CityDoc Corporate Flu Vaccinations: Clinics Closed, What Are Your Options for 2026/27?
March 26, 2026
6 minute read

If you’re here, you probably used CityDoc for your workplace flu programme last year and you’re trying to work out what’s going on. The short answer: CityDoc’s private clinics and pharmacy partner locations have permanently closed. The network of 150+ locations where your employees could get a flu jab or redeem a corporate voucher no longer exists.
At FluClinic2You, we’ve been fielding calls from businesses in exactly this position. If you need a corporate flu vaccination provider for the 2026/27 season, with on-site clinics, a nationwide pharmacy voucher network, or both, we can help.
What Happened with CityDoc?
CityDoc was part of the European LifeCare Group, a Danish-owned vaccination provider. For years they operated one of the UK’s largest private vaccination networks: 10 standalone clinics, a nationwide pharmacy partner programme, over 70,000 registered clients, and close to 100,000 vaccines administered annually.
In early 2026, CityDoc announced the permanent closure of all private clinic locations (21 February 2026) and all pharmacy partner locations (28 February 2026). Customer support closed on 27 February.
Their corporate flu vaccinations page is still live on citydoc.org.uk, and it carries a notice stating that CityDoc will continue to focus on B2B corporate services. Whether that service will operate at the same scale without the clinic and pharmacy network behind it is something businesses will want to confirm directly with CityDoc before committing to a 2026/27 programme.
What Former CityDoc Clients Have Lost
If your business used CityDoc, here’s what’s no longer available:
- The pharmacy voucher redemption network. CityDoc operated over 150 clinic and pharmacy locations where employees walked in and redeemed a corporate flu voucher. Every one of those locations is now permanently closed. If your business relied on vouchers, particularly for remote staff, distributed teams, or employees across multiple sites, that service is gone.
- Walk-in clinic access. Employees could book a flu jab at a CityDoc clinic near their office or home. Those clinics no longer exist.
Access for smaller businesses. CityDoc’s remaining corporate offering, according to their website, is aimed at businesses with 50 or more employees. If your company has fewer than 50 staff, you’re not covered.

How FluClinic2You Fills Each of Those Gaps
Replacing the voucher network

This is the biggest gap for most former CityDoc clients. CityDoc’s voucher network was tied to their own clinic and pharmacy locations. When those closed, the voucher network went with them.
FluClinic2You operates a flu voucher programme through 2,000+ independent pharmacies across the UK. It’s not tied to any single clinic chain, which means it doesn’t depend on one provider staying open. Employees choose a pharmacy near their home or office, book at a time that works for them, and redeem the voucher at their appointment.
Two pricing models are available:
- Pre-pay: Purchase vouchers upfront at bulk rates. The more you buy, the lower the per-voucher cost.
- Pay-per-activation: You only pay when an employee actually redeems a voucher. Unused vouchers cost you nothing. If your business had a problem with low uptake or wasted pre-purchased CityDoc vouchers, this solves it.
Replacing on-site clinics

FluClinic2You sends a team of pharmacists and nurses to your workplace with all the equipment needed to vaccinate your staff. Up to 80 employees per session. Multiple sessions can be booked for larger organisations. The team manages everything from appointment reminders to post-clinic reporting.
FluClinic2You’s on-site clinics are pharmacist-led. The founding team are qualified pharmacists, and every clinic is staffed by pharmacists and nurses. That level of clinical oversight matters when you’re responsible for a workplace vaccination programme.
Covering smaller businesses
CityDoc’s remaining corporate service is aimed at businesses with 50+ employees. FluClinic2You has no minimum headcount. If you’re a 15-person office or a 500-person company, the service works the same way.
Both models under one provider
Most corporate flu providers offer either on-site clinics or a voucher programme. FluClinic2You does both. If you have 200 staff at head office and another 50 working from home or based at other sites, you run an on-site clinic for the office and issue vouchers for everyone else. One provider, one invoice, one point of contact.

Why You Should Sort This Now, Not in September

Flu vaccinations start from September. HR teams, office managers, and procurement leads who leave it until then to find a replacement provider will be scrambling alongside everyone else who used CityDoc. That’s a lot of displaced demand hitting the market at once.
There’s also a new financial pressure this year. From 6 April 2026, the Employment Rights Act 2025 removed the 3-day waiting period for Statutory Sick Pay. Every employee in the UK now gets SSP from day one of sickness. The lower earnings limit has been scrapped too, bringing 1.3 million additional workers into eligibility.
For employers, that means every flu-related sick day costs money from day one. No more three-day buffer. If there was ever a year to have your corporate flu programme locked in early, this is it.

Your Situation, Sorted
“Our employees used CityDoc’s pharmacy locations for flu vouchers. Where do they go now?”
FluClinic2You’s voucher programme covers 2,000+ pharmacies across the UK. Your employees book at a pharmacy near them and redeem the voucher at their appointment. For businesses with remote teams or staff spread across the country, this is the direct replacement for what CityDoc used to offer.
“We’re a small business. CityDoc’s 50+ employee minimum doesn’t work for us.”
FluClinic2You has no minimum headcount for on-site clinics, and vouchers can be purchased from as few as 10. Whether you’ve got 12 staff or 1,200, the service works.
“We had an on-site clinic through CityDoc last year. Can we get the same thing?”
Yes. FluClinic2You provides on-site workplace flu clinics nationwide. A team of pharmacists and nurses comes to your premises, sets up in a meeting room or designated space, and vaccinates your staff with minimal disruption. Call us with your team size and preferred dates and we’ll put a plan together.
