Not everyone you offer a vaccination to will take it up, and with pre-paid vouchers you commit to the full cost before you know who will. Pay-per-activation removes that guesswork. You extend the offer to as many staff as you like, and your bill only ever reflects the people who go on to get vaccinated.

How pay-per-activation works

Set up your programme. Tell us how many staff you would like to cover and we set the programme live. There is no charge to open it.

Your team redeems. Each person books their COVID vaccination at a participating pharmacy, any time in the season, using their voucher.

You are invoiced monthly. We bill only for the vouchers activated that month, with 30 days to pay. Anything unused costs you nothing.

A worked example

Say you set up 200 members of staff. Over the season, 130 of them book their vaccination. You pay for those 130 activations at £95 each, which comes to £12,350, spread across monthly invoices as people book. The 70 who choose not to take it up cost you nothing.

Had you pre-paid for all 200, you would have committed the whole cost upfront, whoever ended up using it. Pay-per-activation only ever charges you for the 130.

Pre-pay or pay-per-activation?

If you already know your headcount and want the simplest option, pre-paying for a set number of vouchers may suit you better, and it starts lower, at £85 per voucher for ten or more. If uptake is uncertain or your team is large, pay-per-activation protects you from paying for doses nobody uses.

What counts as an activation?

A voucher is activated when one of your staff redeems it for a COVID vaccination at a participating pharmacy. That is the point at which it appears on your bill.

Is there a minimum?

Yes. Pay-per-activation starts at 25 staff on the programme. Below that, pre-paying for vouchers is usually the better fit.

What if more, or fewer, people activate than we expected?

It makes no difference to how it works. You are billed for exactly the number activated each month, however that lands.

When and how are we invoiced?

Monthly, once your programme is live, for the vouchers activated in that period. Payment is due 30 days from the invoice date.

Do we pay anything to set it up?

No. There is no upfront cost, and nothing to pay for vouchers that go unused.

Is it VAT exempt?

Yes. The £95 per activated voucher is the full amount, with no VAT added.

Can staff still redeem any time in the season?

Yes. Each person books when it suits them, any time between 1 September 2026 and 1 March 2027.
