Flu Vouchers for Small Businesses

If you run a small business, protecting your team from flu can feel like it is set up for companies far bigger than yours. Many on-site clinics need enough people in one place to fill a session, and many voucher schemes are pitched at employers ordering in their hundreds. Flu vouchers do not work like that: you can order for a handful of staff, or even one, just as easily as a business ordering a thousand. Each voucher is a pre-paid flu jab your employee redeems at a pharmacy near them, sent digitally by email and valid right across the flu season, from September to March.
There is no minimum on pre-pay flu vouchers. A business with three staff can order three vouchers, or even one, in exactly the same way as a business ordering a thousand.
Why an on-site clinic rarely makes sense for a small team
On-site clinics work well when there are enough people in one building to fill a nurse’s morning. For a small business, that maths usually does not add up: booking a clinic for four or five people is expensive per head and hard to justify against the admin of arranging it. That does not mean you go without cover, it just means a voucher is normally the more practical route in. Each of your staff redeems individually at a participating pharmacy, so there is no session to fill and no minimum headcount to hit. Our guide to flu vouchers versus on-site clinics covers this trade-off in more depth if you want the fuller picture.

What a small order actually costs
Pricing works on volume, and it is worth knowing exactly where the bands sit before you order. For the 2026/27 season, pre-pay vouchers are priced as follows:
A business ordering fewer than ten vouchers pays £23 each. That is the fairest reflection of a genuinely small order, but it is worth knowing that the price roughly halves the moment you reach ten, so if you are close to that number, it is worth checking whether rounding up saves you money overall. Either way, there is no requirement to hit ten, or any other number, to place an order at all.
How it works for a small business
The process is identical whether you are ordering for three people or three thousand — there is no separate, scaled-down version for a small order.
- Order online. Choose the exact number of vouchers you need, however small, and confirm payment.
- Receive your code. We send your vouchers digitally by email, with a single redemption code.
- Share the code with your team. One short message covers everyone, even if that is just a handful of people.
- Staff redeem locally. Each person visits any of 2,000+ participating pharmacies and gets vaccinated at a time that suits them.
Staff can check their nearest participating branch using our pharmacy finder. Vouchers are valid for the whole flu season, from September to March, so there is no narrow window to hit, even if someone is off sick or on leave when you order.
Growing beyond a handful of staff
Plenty of businesses that start on a small order stay on flu vouchers as they grow, simply buying more each year rather than switching approach. If your team is spread across more than one location as you expand, our guide to flu vouchers for multi-site businesses covers that stage, and if your team works remotely or hybrid rather than from a single office, flu vouchers for remote and hybrid teams covers that shape instead. Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum number of vouchers we can order?
No. Pre-pay vouchers can be ordered from a single voucher upwards, so a business with just a few staff can order exactly what it needs.
Is Pay-Per-Activation an option for a small business?
It is available, but it requires a minimum of 25 activations, which is usually more than a small team needs. Pre-pay is normally the better fit, since it has no minimum at all.
How much would a small order cost?
For 2026/27, pre-pay vouchers are £23 each for 1 to 9, dropping to £11.50 each from 10 upwards. If your order is close to ten, it is worth checking whether rounding up works out cheaper overall.
How are the vouchers delivered?
Digitally, by email. Once you order, we send your vouchers electronically along with a single code to share with your team. There is nothing to print or post.
Where can our staff redeem a voucher?
At any of 2,000+ participating pharmacies across the UK. Staff can find their nearest branch using our pharmacy finder before they go.
How long do staff have to redeem their voucher?
Vouchers are valid for the whole flu season, from September to March, giving even a small team plenty of time to fit it around annual leave and day-to-day work.
Can we order more later if we take on new staff?
Yes. You can place a new order at any point in the season as your headcount changes, there is no requirement to order for your whole team in one go.
